Custom draperies, curtains and top trearments are usually installed on drapery rods. Some of the more popular types of rods are decorative wood or metal poles, traversing rods, sash rods, café rods, and pivoting rods. These rods are available in a variety of finishes: painted, stained, gilded in gold, silver and other metallic finishes and textures to enhance your decorating style. Artfully crafted, designs can range from formal and elegant to relaxed and casual. Finials embellish the ends of drapery rods and often are the only decorative hardware exposed after curtains and draperies are shirred on the rod.
